It teaches students how to install SketchUp which then follows by familiarizing students with the software’s interface. However, this first part of a 3-part course offers the basics skills of SketchUp for students to build on and has very practical structured classes. Mastering SketchUp can seem complicated for beginners. Now, very carefully, erase away the unnecessary geometry.ġ2) Now you are finished, and you should clearly see that one part of the hip roof has an apex higher than the other, to coincide with the larger span, yet they should both neatly intersect with one another seamlessly. You should see linework appear where there was none previous defined. Triple click a roof face to select all the roofs geometry.ġ1) Right Click, then select Intersect - Intersect Model.
